Do i need an exit permit for my car if i want to drive my car from the ksa to jordan, syria and turkey?

im an expat living in the ksa, got my iqama, saudi licence, international licence and an eu licence, the car is registered in saudi. i know that a few years ago you needed some sort of authorisation if you wanted to drive your car out of the kingdom, but some say that system has been stopped. i really dont want to find it out at the jordanian border crossing, so could you guys pls help me out? thanks
