I can receive my yahoo mail through outlook express, but can't send?

When trying to send mail from Outlook Express with my AT&T Yahoo account I am propmpted for a pword, when I enter it the prompt reappears, then I enter it and the prompt reappears again, this continues infinitely. All of the account settings are correct according to AT&T/Yahoo. Does anyone know what might cause this?
