My husband is coming home in a few months?

he is currently deployed to afganistan and won't be home until nov-dec.. we are stationed in Italy and came back to the states to see our family, we will be going back soon and since materials aren't that great over there I wanted to get a jump on some creative banner/ decoration ideas. I know that my husband will be glad to just see us, but I want to do a little something for him. I have a daughter who is 18 months now and I would like some creative ideas as far as her helping to decorate. I thought about footprints around it or handprints but if anyone else has some better ideas that would be awsome! Thanks!
