Should I be straightforward with him?

ok well I met this guy and hes a Capricorn I'm a pieces by the way. so he acts like he likes me but sometimes he says things that make it seem like he doesn't hes already taken me on the first date and everything and we were talking the other day he was telling me how he was glad he met me and asked for my number and all that even did the "what do you think of me" thing haha but sometimes I get the feeling that hes playing me should I be straight forward and just ask if hes messing with me or what? by the way this might play a big part in it or not but hes turning 19 this year and I'm turning 17 in feb.
