Would a guy stop talking to you for your own good?

i fell for this guy hard.. we used to talk every single day, but it was always on and off w/ him, as in we would talk one day for the w hole day, and not the next (he always initiated the convos) we hung out 2 weeks ago, and he stopped talkign to me the day after we hung out, but it really seemed like he liked me, we had such a good time, we didnt do anything, ever. he didnt talk to me that whole weekend, so I was gonna tell him I liked him and clear things up (to see if he liked me) but he didnt pick up my calls or answer my texts/ Ims, idk why he randomly stopped talking to me (this happened multiple times, but its different this time since I like him and we hung out) even my guy friends that are friends w/ him cant read him. idk :( im trying to forget him but its hard.
