Which book should I read?

ok. so I've only completely read one of these books and that is fahrenheit 451. Its a fairly easy book to understand, I had to read it for my last year of High school. I enjoyed reading the book off and on, it was a little strange for me what with the futuristic stuff and all. BTW I'm not a big futuristic fan. Jane Austen is a great author I read some of her work, but writers from the 19th century are very hard to understand. But still great book. The same for Great Expectations I have the book, I tried reading it, but the way of writing psyched me out and I didn't finish it. I also have 'The Diary of Anne Frank' is a good biography I have that same book. It's pretty long, but it's heartfelt, easy to understand and it makes you empathize with what she is going through. Good luck on whichever book you decide to choose.

Kitten being eaten by maggots?

There are stray kittens outside of my house and one is being eaten alive by maggots. I picked one of them up earlier today, and a maggot fell from it's . I looked under it's tail and maggots have eaten a hole and buried themselves into the kittens backside. It's a hole about the size of a dime and I don't know what to do. I tried removing them, but she's screaming in pain and I can't hold her down long enough. One of the kittens ped away today, and I couldn't understand why, and now that I think about it, I never looked to see if there were maggots anywhere. I feel so helpless. I want to try and save her before she dies like her sister did. I have no money to take her to the vet and I've been waiting for a no-kill animal shelter around here to open up to accept admissions. The only one around here will only take them from 2-5pm and it's past that time. I'm afraid if I wait until tomorrow, alot more damage will be done. I'm panicking so bad because I feel like it's no use in trying. I tried to remove the maggots, but it's almost impossible. The hole is full and I'm not sure how deep it goes. She doesn't seem to be slowed down too much by it, but she's definitely not herself. She's still eating and drinking and running around, she just looks sad and in pain. I'm going to try to take her to a cat shelter tomorrow, but I'm afraid they're going to eat through her so fast that tomorrow will be too late. I don't know what to do. :( Again, I don't have the money or transportation to take her to a vet right now.

20 weeks and 3 days pregnant and the baby has just starting moving a tiny bit but its painful?

Hey, i'm 20 weeks and 3 days pregnant and i have just started feeling movement which i'm very happy and excited about. They are only faint movements but they are definitely there. Anyway it may be a silly question but i want to make sure. When the baby moves or kicks or whatever you wish to call it i get quite abit of sharp pain wherever it is that it kicks. I have tried ringing my surgery just to make sure the pain is normal but they are very busy and the phones go straight onto some recording about swine flu. In the last few months, my Yahoo clic email program has been acting like a runaway horse. Often my mails don't send, it hangs up when I wish to compose, when I click on just about any option, I can get a blank page, or a never-ending load. I have signed out, signed in, cleared my cache, history, temporary internet folders, cookies, pwords, forms, storage from add-ons, etc. I am still having trouble. I did not, before...it is non-stop, and I have scanned everything, re-booted, checked the registry, etc, etc. Computer illiterate, I am not. Anyone else having this problem?

My mom is worrying me and upsetting me?

Okay well I'm a 15 year old girl and my mother is 50. Now she may be going through menopause but I'm not sure, but she just worries me. Is it wrong that i just want to listen to All Time Low?

I love the band All Time Low and i like listening to ATL so much that i don't even want to listen to anything else. i have to half force myself to put anything else on. I do "like" other bands and stuff especially Never Shout Never but in comparison to ATL, nothing really seems that great anymore. I would rather just listen to ATL songs all day. i feel like its a problem though to JUST listen to one group or artist so after awhile I'll put something else on but I would rather just listen to ATL and not really bother will anything else pretty much. I feel like that would be a problem though if I ONLY listened to ATL and like nothing else all day. ATL is now 90 or 95% of the music i listen to these days and i listen to music like all of the possible day. Doesn't that sound like it would become a problem though? Just ATL? It's just salts coming out of the brick material and is nothing to worry about. It's not dangerous. It'll disappear over time with weathering but if you want to speed this up just brush it off. Don't use acid or for that matter any liquids, all that will do is dissolve the salt particles and force them back into the pores of the brick, from which they will re-emerge as it dries off.

Over the last couple of months I lost everyone important in my life. First my boyfriend dumped me because of some greek tramp, and then he didn't even have the decency to tell me the truth or to tell me this in my face, so he dumped me over FB. If you know, why are you asking others for advise? There are no shortcuts. You need to balance diet and exercise. Less calories and more exercise. I would never recommend a crazy diet, low carbs. Carbs are essential. Without them, you will get weak and binge eat. Your body will start to use muscle for energy and that is bad. It sounds to me like you are pretty knowledgeable so just use your common sense- everything in moderation. You only gained it all back because you were denying yourself good food. I have gotten in great shape, lost 30 lbs., lowered blood pressure, great blood tests (lipids, etc) and I look forward to eating. I have absolutely no desire to over eat. It really is more about forming great diet and exercise habits. Running for 2 hours every day is clearly overdoing it- come on, you know that. No wonder your body wanted FOOD! Just go easy, pick whole foods, yes, carbs, lots of proteins, good fats, etc. and exercise at least 30 minutes a day and you'll be fine. Give it time and be patient, Rome wasn't built in a day.

I have a 5 month old son. He goes to sleep about 9:30 or 10 pm. He goes to sleep with a minimal fuss but wakes up at about 11 and continues to wake up every 30 mins or so until about 2:30. He then sleeps until about 5:00 and then again at 6am. When he wakes up I put his pacifier back in his mouth and I don't let him cry for very long because he is in the same room as my 20 month old. i have started giving him a little cereal at night but it doesn't seem to help! I have been losing weight steadily for about a month and eating very well. On Sunday I decided to jump off the wagon for one day and had a super greasy bacon cheeseburger and fries at Ruby Tuesday, and that was all I had all day. I was surprised to wake up on Monday and have lost another pound. On Monday I went back to salads and grilled chicken and went to the gym. I wake up today (Tuesday) and after a super healthy day now I've gained a pound. My coworker says it's because it takes awhile for food to break down so this is what's catching up to me from Sunday.
